REGISTRATION

When do registrations close? Can I register on Saturday, 22 July or Sunday, 23 July 2023?Subject to availability, registrations can be made online up until the morning of the event on Sunday, 23 July. However, we highly recommend registering in advance. All registrations must be made online as we do not accept in-person registrations.
What are the age group categories?Age group categories for the 3km and 8km are as follows: 12 and under, 13 to 16, Open (17 and over). There are no age categories for the bike ride.
Is a child U16 or 16 years and under?A child is 16 years and under.

COURSES

Where are the start and finish lines?The 44km bike ride starts at Pipeliner Park in Esk, the 8km run starts at Clock Park, Lowood and the 3km run starts at Forest Hill Fernvale Road, Vernor.  All events start at 9am from their respective locations, and finish at Fernvale Sports Park, Brouff Road.
When does each event start?All events start at 9am.
Are eBikes allowed?Use of eBikes is permitted for the bike leg of the event.

SHUTTLE BUS

Can I take the bus to the 3km start?Participants are welcome to take the shuttle bus from Clock Park, Lowood, or from Fernvale Sports Park to the 3km start.
Do I need to book a spot for the shuttle bus if I’m walking / running the 3km or 8km?While shuttle buses are available for all participants, only those completing the 44km bike ride will need to confirm whether or not they will require a place on the bus.
Participants completing the 3km or 8km courses are welcome to catch any of the shuttle buses departing every 10 minutes from Clock Park, Lowood, or Fernvale Sports Park to the relevant start line.
Alternative question: Can I take the bus to the 8km start? Why is this option not available on the registration platform?Shuttle buses depart Fernvale Sports Park to both the 3km start and the 8km start every ten minutes, starting from 7.20am, however you do not need to book. Only those registering got the 44km bike ride will need to confirm whether or not they require a place on the bus. For bike riders, there are two bus departure times – 6:30am and 7:30am.

I am not registered to run, can I still take the bus?Attendees not participating in a run or ride are welcome to take the shuttle bus.
How long does the bus take from Fernvale to Esk?Approximately 25-40 minutes

BIBS

Where are the bib collection points for the 44km bike event?Bibs can be collected on Saturday, 22 July between 10am and 12pm from the Lowood Customer Service Centre, or on Sunday, 23 July between 7am and 8:30am at bike start line in Esk. If possible, we highly recommend collecting your bib on the Saturday.
Please note, bibs cannot be collected at Fernvale Sports Park prior to catching the bus.

Can I collect my race bib before the event day?Bibs can be collected the day before the event, on Saturday 22 July from the Lowood Customer Service Centre between 10am and 12pm. We highly recommend this option, if possible.

PARKING

Is there parking available?There is no parking available at the 3km start line. Participants must catch a bus from the Fernvale Sports Park or 8km start (Clock Park, Lowood) to the 3km start.

FERNVALE SPORTS PARK PARKING
Parking for the event at the Fernvale Sports Park will be limited. The Fernvale Country Markets will be running concurrently to the SRTC on the Fernvale State School grounds. See Fernvale sports parking map for further information.

LOWOOD PARKING
Participants of the 3km and 8km run or walk are encouraged to park in Lowood.
There will be off street carparking available via the Clock Park carpark and Peace Street carparks in Lowood – please see Lowood parking maps 1 & map 2 for further details.

ESK PARKING
Participants of the bike ride are encouraged to park in the Somerset Civic Centre carpark or Pipeliner Park overflow carpark. Both carparks are located off Esk Hampton Road. See Esk parking map for further information.
